Not that I would wish this on anyone, but I am assuming there is a fix that someone will know about. Experts, I have been using Windows XP SP2 with AutoCAD 2010 version 18.0.I have been using the software for years now and I use it for 3D designs. The software has been posing quite a few problems. I am hoping SOMEONE else has had this problem and that it is not unique to me. I had this happen on another workstation and reinstalling cured it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several time with no luck. I click ok and the program runs but with minimal menus in the bar. Shape catalog file 'C:\Documents and Settings\username\application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2006\R16.2\enu\support\Shapes.atc' is not found. From time to time, when someone starts Acad and that network location is not yet available, the menu’s do not load. I have two menu’s (in two CUIX files) that are loaded in AutoCAD, and they’re loaded from a network location. I click ok and get this message: (Also see attached file) I keep running into a small but annoying issue with our custom menu’s in AutoCAD. I click ok and then get a box asking me to "Specify font for FONTALT" The file servers have the IPv4 stack uninstalled - we run IPv6 only. Their system/boot disk are VHDX's on Cluster Shared Volumes and the file data is stored on SCSI Pass-through disks. So here goes.Īfter installing a single seat of AutoCAD 2006, I open the program and get this message:Ĭustomization file load failed, File not found: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2006\R16.2\enu\support\acad.cui The file servers we see the problem on are Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter Core. When closing the error message, AutoCAD screen flickers continuously when moving the mouse around. By default, the acad.lsp file is loaded only once, when the program starts, whereas acaddoc.lsp is loaded with each individual document (or drawing). When opening AutoCAD 2012 an error message shows 'Customization file load failed. AutoCAD-based products load the contents of three user-definable files automatically: acad.lsp, acaddoc.lsp, and the MNL file that accompanies your current customization file.

Example, we have some settings for AutoCAD we want applied to everyone, so we wrap the AutoCAD install with a VBScript or Powershell script to install, then mount default hive and add some reg settings. Our customization's to the default profile happen as part of application installs. Have not used this forum yet, just became a member at AU in Orlando. AutoCAD 2012 is not working properly, and there are three things to mention: 1. The Option 2 and 3 Combined MAY be how we need to handle things.
